Letter to the reader

A Marriage of Majors

Dedication:

To my husband, for reminding me every day that laughter is the glue that holds a marriage together. To my sisters for their help with the medical aspects of this book. And to all our children, for teaching us that the true challenge of motherhood is letting go.

Dear Readers:

Marriages are so often challenging. But marriages between military members are even more demanding than most. Long separations, dramatically different experiences, and the trauma of war can thwart even the most loving couple. Add the responsibility of a child to the mix and the difficulties may seem insurmountable. But sometimes, love conquers all.

Major Anthony Garitano and Major Kristen Clark have more than their fair share of obstacles to overcome. His deployment to a harsh land far away from her duty station has taken its toll. War has changed him. And motherhood has changed her. But when the two reunite, joining forces to save their daughter from a revenge-seeking terrorist, they rediscover the power of love.

I hope you enjoy this story of two officers who refuse to let their dedication to the military overwhelm their dedication to each other.
